The Deputy Minister of Finance, Paweł Karbownik, has submitted his resignation – PAP has learned from the Ministry of Finance.
According to information from PAP, Deputy Minister of Finance Paweł Karbownik has resigned for personal reasons. The agency has reported that his resignation has been accepted.
Since December 2023, Paweł Karbownik has held the position of Deputy Minister of Finance. Previously, he served as Deputy Director at the EU Economic Department within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, where he led the team responsible for various initiatives, including programming the Polish Presidency of the EU Council in 2011, developing the concept for the energy union, and overseeing sanctions against Russia in 2014.
He has also worked in the European Parliament within the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee and in various international corporations.
