The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate has issued a notice concerning a ladle available in the Kaufland retail chain. It was discovered that chemicals from this item were leaching into food. According to their explanation, these substances could pose a danger to human health.
„Following an official inspection by the State Sanitary Inspectorate, the transfer of chemical compounds – specifically primary aromatic amines from the item (ladle) to food was detected,” the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate stated.
It was clarified that primary aromatic amines are compounds that could endanger human health and should not be present in food.

„On June 27, 2025, Kaufland Polska Markety Sp. z o. o. commenced the process of withdrawing the contested items from its outlets and storage facilities,” the statement noted.
Additionally, the State Sanitary Inspection authorities are overseeing the withdrawal of the questioned product.
