The Action chain has removed Lay’s chips, the Cupcake doll, and the My Time watch from its shelves. The company is releasing notices advising customers not to consume or use these items and to return them to the nearest store.
Action has posted alerts on its website regarding the recall of three products that fail to meet safety standards or could present a health risk to consumers. It stresses that all affected items can be returned without needing a receipt or proof of purchase. Customers will be eligible for a full refund in such instances.

The chain has advised customers against consuming the product and instructed them to return it to their nearest Action store. This product was available for purchase starting May 23, 2025.
„The product inadvertently contained mineral oil not suitable for food contact, which includes MOSH and MOAH. A single consumption does not pose a significant threat, and the health risk is minimal. However, due to the presence of mineral oils that are not authorized for consumption in the European Union, regular consumption over an extended period could have adverse health effects,” the chain stated.
The chain also issued a warning regarding the Toi-Toys Cupcake Doll. This product has already been removed from stores.

The chain urged consumers to „immediately discontinue” the use of the product and return it to the nearest point of sale. The Cupcake doll was sold at Action from December 11, 2023, to June 17, 2024.
„The product does not comply with the requirements set forth by the Regulation of the Minister of Development and Finance dated October 20, 2016, regarding toy safety, due to the presence of a hazardous chemical substance in the product exceeding the permitted limit, specifically bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), which poses a risk of negative health effects related to exposure to this substance and threatens user safety,” the chain informed.
Two variants of the My Time men’s watch with a metal strap have also been recalled. Customers are requested to return the product to any Action outlet.
