Donald Tusk: This is a very serious confrontation
Prime Minister Donald Tusk has called upon Polish businesses to assist in the development of a national economy. He emphasized that contemporary economic nationalism will lead to a significant confrontation.
The Prime Minister addressed this during the European Forum for New Ideas (EFNI) held in Warsaw.
He conveyed his belief that 2025 will mark a pivotal year for Poland regarding investment, safeguarding, and fostering Polish enterprises, as well as deregulation. Previously, the Prime Minister indicated that it is time to reconstruct and repolonize the Polish economy, market, and capital. In this light, he appealed to the congress attendees, highlighting that he relies on their backing.

– This contemporary economic nationalism, taking strong control so that no one interferes with us and no one takes away what rightfully belongs to us, Polish businesses, Polish entrepreneurs, will indeed be a very serious confrontation – acknowledged the Prime Minister.
He remarked that the national economy merits everyone’s dedication. – This represents the fundamental, perhaps the most crucial aspect of Polish patriotism today – he added. He also pointed out that there will be opportunities for all involved in this endeavor.
Tusk on „healthy economy”
– I envision a future where we don’t need to convince ourselves that the youth should have their rightful place in this economic realm, that there should be greater representation of women who face discrimination. A healthy economy, a robust state is one where individuals are not affirmed based on their age, skin color, or gender – stated Tusk.
He further emphasized that the state must effectively guarantee that no one faces discrimination.
Donald Tusk discusses repolonization
Prime Minister Donald Tusk also declared that „the time has come to repolonize the Polish economy, market, and capital.”
He remarked that this is „the appropriate moment to assertively declare that the era of naive globalization is coming to an end.” – If we aim to achieve economic prosperity and establish a secure state, we must vocally and unambiguously communicate to ourselves and others that Poland – amid the increasingly ruthless competition from self-interested parties in global markets and conflict fronts – will not be a naive collaborator. Polish companies will not find themselves at a disadvantage in competition with international behemoths – he stressed.
