Failure at mBank. „We have problems with transfers”

mBank announced in a statement on Monday that the transfer sent may not have reached the intended recipient today. The bank urged its clients not to resend „already initiated transfers.” On Tuesday, mBank confirmed that it was addressing transactions „continuously” and had completed „all transfers from yesterday.”
„Notice! We are experiencing issues with transfers,” mBank communicated to its customers. It highlighted that this was „crucial information.”
mBank outage. Transfer issues
„Even if you see a deduction for a sent transfer on your account, it is possible that it did not arrive at the recipient today. We encountered difficulties and were unable to send the majority of the requested transfers (including direct debits) today,” the bank clarified.
It further stated: „We did not record transfers that were initiated from other banks either.”
Additionally, it explained that „by tomorrow at the latest, we will process all pending transfers and log those that have been sent to us.”
„Please refrain from repeating the transfers that have already been initiated,” mBank advised its customers.
It also cautioned: „Be vigilant. If you receive a link to repeat the payment under the name of mBank, do not proceed. They may be scammers!”
We also received reports of transfer issues at mBank via Kontakt24.
On Tuesday, the bank stated that it was processing transfers „continuously, in accordance with the session schedule.” „We have also completed all of yesterday’s incoming and outgoing transfers. We apologize for any inconvenience,” it mentioned in a statement.
