Failure in Orange
On Wednesday, the Orange network experienced a disruption. Users reported issues with making calls and sending text messages. By Thursday morning, the company announced that „yesterday during the day, there were temporary issues affecting the mobile network.”
According to reports on Downdetector, Orange customers started indicating problems on Wednesday morning. The volume of outage reports increased significantly by the afternoon, exceeding a thousand by 2 p.m.

„Is there a current issue with the Orange network? I can’t make calls,” „SMS messages are arriving with a delay of 1-2 hours,” „I’m unable to make calls, and no one can reach me. The Internet is functioning,” „Ironically, data services are operational. Calls and SMS are failing. The network signal drops to zero every 10 seconds” – these are just a few comments from users on X (previously Twitter).
Orange Polska acknowledged the network issues on social media. „We are actively working to restore service access. We apologize for the inconvenience and request your patience,” they stated.

Orange stands as one of the largest telecommunications service providers in Poland. Other major operators in the country include Play, Plus, and T-Mobile.
