GDP for Q4 2024 – Central Statistical Office data

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Poland, not adjusted for seasonal variations, experienced a growth of 3.2 percent year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2024, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS). The office also noted that in comparison to the third quarter, the growth was 1.3 percent.
This figure aligns with the earlier flash estimate provided by the Central Statistical Office.
Data from the Central Statistical Office indicates that in Q4, investments rose by 1.3% year-on-year, private consumption increased by 3.5% year-on-year, and domestic demand grew by 4.8% year-on-year.

„The confirmed GDP growth in 4Q24 stands at 3.2% year-on-year. Private consumption is at 3.5% year-on-year. Investments have risen by 1.3% year-on-year. Net exports show a decline of -1.3pp, while the change in inventories reflects an increase of +1.8%pp. There is a rise in consumer activity alongside persistently low investment levels. The deterioration in the foreign trade balance continues,” commented economists from ING Bank.
