Helly Hansen Life Jackets Recalled. Risk of Drowning.
The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has received a notification from Helly Hansen, a company specializing in sports equipment. The manufacturer has reported defects in its life jackets, which could lead to drowning hazards. The Swedish firm is requesting the destruction of these faulty products.
„Due to manufacturing issues by third parties, certain Helly Hansen life jacket models, specifically Navigare Comfort, Navigare Scan, Junior Safe+, and Kid Safe+, do not comply with our safety standards and present a drowning risk,” the company states on its website.
