Iran-Israel conflict. Donald Tusk warns

Donald Tusk remarked that both nations began their journeys from a similar standpoint – we lacking gas and oil, they lacking freedom – emphasizing the contrasting development trajectories of Poland and Iran. In his social media update, the prime minister cautions about the repercussions of deviating from a pro-Western stance.
Donald Tusk shared a social media post by Alec Stapp, co-founder of the American think tank Institute for Progress, which juxtaposed the economic destinies of Poland and Iran over recent decades. The post featured a graph illustrating GDP per capita for Poland, Iran, and Japan from 1990 to 2023.
„Iran has chosen authoritarianism, a theocratic state, and an anti-Western direction. Poland has embraced democracy, a market economy, and Europe. We commenced from a similar position, we devoid of gas and oil, they devoid of freedom. This is a matter for all proponents of a radical shift in direction to contemplate,” Donald Tusk conveyed on social media.
