Mechanism of the fraud
According to Poczta Polska, „the text of the message includes a link that directs users to a fraudulent phishing website designed to mimic the official site of Pocztex, the courier service of Poczta Polska.”
„The goal of this attack is to extract personal data from users. The links lead to domains listed on the CERT Polska warning register,” it adds.

Tips to avoid fraud
The operator advises that to safeguard against becoming a victim of fraud, the following precautions should be taken:
- avoid clicking on dubious links;
- do not reply to suspicious texts;
- always confirm the legitimacy of the information source;
- verify the web address before entering any personal data;
- be particularly cautious with messages concerning payment issues and delivery failures;
- if uncertain, reach out to Poczta Polska directly;
- report any suspicious messages to CERT Poczta Polska at [email protected]”
