Unemployment in Poland. Statistics Poland data (June 2025). What is the unemployment rate?
The unemployment rate as of June 2025 was reported at 5.2 percent by the Central Statistical Office (GUS) on Wednesday. This reflects an increase from the 5.0 percent rate recorded the previous month.
The Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy had previously projected the unemployment rate for June at 5.1 percent. Meanwhile, the consensus from PAP Biznes suggested a figure of 4.9 percent.
Unemployment in Poland
As per the Central Statistical Office, the total number of registered unemployed individuals at labor offices was 797,000 in June, an increase from 782,800 the month prior.
The count of newly registered unemployed persons stood at 85.3 thousand, down from 89.1 thousand previously.
