Eurojackpot and Lotto Plus Results from August 26, 2025. Where was the winner?
The Eurojackpot drawing on Tuesday did not yield a jackpot winner. The prize pool now increases to PLN 220 million. Nevertheless, a second-tier award exceeding PLN 8 million was secured in Poland. A reward will also be distributed to a participant from Tuesday’s Lotto Plus drawing. Here are the details about where the winnings were allocated.
The drawn numbers for Tuesday’s Eurojackpot were: 8, 14, 21, 26, 35, 4 and 8.
No one matched this combination of numbers. As a result, PLN 220 million will be available in the next draw.
Eurojackpot and Lotto Plus Prizes
Two participants were closest to claiming the jackpot – one from Germany and another from Poland. Their second-tier (5+1) winnings will amount to €1,746,680.80 and €8,109,746.50, respectively.
It is important to note that in Poland, a 10% tax is imposed on any winnings exceeding 2,280 PLN. According to the lottery website, this tax is deducted at the time of payout and forwarded by Totalizator Sportowy to the tax authorities.
„The recent Eurojackpot draw demonstrated that even when the jackpot isn’t won, there remains an opportunity to win millions of zlotys. This was precisely the case with the second-tier prize in this game, recorded on August 26 in Lesko (Podkarpackie Voivodeship). A player who chose their own numbers at the LOTTO outlet located at Rynek 1 in this town won PLN 8,109,746.50. This also stands as the highest win ever in this locality,” stated Totalizator Sportowy.
Another victory occurred in a different game. „The Lotto Plus draw from yesterday will be memorable for anyone who participated at the lottery office on 2 Gostyńska Street in Kąkolewo (Greater Poland Voivodeship). The new Lotto millionaire took a chance and played the lottery, securing winnings of PLN 1,000,000. The winning numbers drawn on August 26 were 5, 18, 21, 25, 26, 44,” the announcement indicated.
Eurojackpot and Lotto Plus – Game Rules and Draw Details
Eurojackpot is a lottery game available across Europe, which commenced in March 2012. Totalizator Sportowy, the entity behind the Lotto brand, introduced it to the Polish audience on September 9, 2017. The game involves participation from more than a dozen European nations.
The betting fee is set at PLN 12.50. Players select five numbers from a pool of 50 and two from a pool of 12.
Lotto Plus provides an additional opportunity to win in the Lotto game. By paying an extra 1 złoty on your Lotto bet, the numbers from that bet are automatically entered into an additional draw. In Lotto Plus, six out of 49 numbers are drawn, and matching all six wins a prize of 1 million złoty.
Winnings in Lotto Plus are fixed and guaranteed, with no rollovers available.
