Fuel prices. The gap between petrol and diesel is growing.

Fuel prices for gasoline are decreasing this week, while those for diesel are increasing, according to analysts at e-petrol. Diesel prices below 6 złoty can be found exclusively in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, which also has the lowest cost for 95-octane gasoline.
Analysts from e-petrol.pl noted that this has led to an increasing gap in the retail prices of these fuels, which now stands at 20 groszy, unfavorably impacting diesel.
They also mentioned that the average national price of 95-octane gasoline, following a discount of 0.2 groszy, is 5.89 PLN/l this week. Meanwhile, diesel fuel, which has seen an increase of 0.4 groszy, is averaging 6.09 PLN at gas stations.
„Prices for retail autogas continue to decline. This fuel has dropped by 0.5 groszy, bringing its current price to 2.69 PLN/l, the lowest since July of the previous year,” they observed.
The Most Affordable Fuel in Pomerania
They highlighted that Pomerania is notable on the regional price map of Poland this week. „It’s the only voivodeship where a liter of diesel can be bought for under 6 złoty – it’s priced at 5.98 złoty,” the analysts remarked. They also noted that 95-octane gasoline is the least expensive in this area, costing 5.79 złoty per liter. In Silesia, autogas is priced at 2.62 złoty per liter, making it the cheapest there.
According to the website’s data, the regions with the highest prices this week include: Opolskie, where the price for 95-octane unleaded petrol is PLN 6.04/l, Świętokrzyskie and Warmian-Masurian, with diesel averaging PLN 6.20/l, and the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, where autogas is the most expensive at PLN 2.86/l.
