Organic coconut sugar 250g. Batch withdrawn from sale. GIS warning

A recall has been issued for a coconut sugar batch that tested positive for gluten, as announced by the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate. They noted that consumption of this product by individuals with gluten intolerance or wheat allergy could result in an allergic reaction.
The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate received notification about gluten presence (>20 mg/kg) in a particular batch of coconut sugar sourced from Indonesia through the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF).

„VINET Łukasz Moskwa repackaged the contested coconut sugar and released it onto the Polish market. Consuming this product may induce an allergic reaction in individuals with gluten intolerance or wheat allergy,” stated GIS.
The alert pertains to the product:

- batch number: LT251059,
- best before date 10/10/2027,
- barcode: 5903111231576,
- producer: „Vinet Łukasz Moskwa, ul. Szymanowskiego 5, 05-092 Łomianki”.

The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) reported that the manufacturer has notified its distributors of the non-compliance, and the recipients are undertaking the product recall process. The State Sanitary Inspectorate is overseeing the withdrawal of the disputed product by recipients in Poland.
