Wizz Air launches new connection from Poland

Wizz Air has introduced a new route connecting Warsaw with Dortmund, as announced by the airline in a press release on Monday. Flights departing from Chopin Airport will operate five times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The inaugural flight on this new route, as highlighted by the airline, took place on June 8.
The airline also noted that this summer, it will be operating nearly 180 routes from Poland to 28 different countries.

Wizz Air is a Hungarian airline that operates a fleet of 230 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft; it provides services on over 600 routes from 25 operational bases across Central and Eastern Europe. The company has reported that since 2004, more than 120 million travelers have utilized its services for journeys to and from Poland.
Chopin Airport in Warsaw holds the title of the largest airport in Poland, having accommodated a record 21.3 million passengers last year. In addition to Wizz Air, airlines such as Lufthansa, British Airways, KLM, and Emirates also operate flights from this airport. The capital’s airport serves as the hub for LOT Polish Airlines.
