Anna Streżyńska, director of the Institute of Communications

Anna Streżyńska is set to assume the role of director at the Institute of Communications – National Research Institute, as announced by the Ministry of Digital Affairs. Previously, she served as the Minister of Digital Affairs and led the Office of Electronic Communications.
The ministry stated in a press release that Anna Streżyńska is a trained lawyer and has been involved in public administration since 2001, holding various management and expert roles. Her experience includes positions at the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, the Ministry of Communications, the Ministry of Transport and Construction, the Office of Electronic Communications, and the Ministry of Digital Affairs, which she directed from 2015 to 2018.

Furthermore, the ministry noted that Streżyńska has extensive experience in the telecommunications sector and has been affiliated with the Wielkopolska Broadband Network and the Internet for Mazovia initiative.
Most recently, she served as the chief strategic advisor to the National Chamber of Commerce for Electronics and Telecommunications. „Her professional background, experience in managing state agencies, and recognition within the industry provide strong justification for her appointment as the director of the Institute,” the ministry remarked.
Streżyńska will replace Dariusz Dąbek, who, as noted on the Institute’s website, has stepped down from his position.
