Presidential elections 2025. Fantastic results of TVN24, TVN and tvn24.pl

TVN24 and TVN, part of the global media conglomerate Warner Bros. Discovery, emerged as the most viewed channels in Poland when the results of the first round of the presidential elections were revealed. Among viewers aged four and above, they achieved a combined market share of nearly 22 percent, based on Nielsen TV Audience Measurement data. The website tvn24.pl also recorded impressive results.
On Sunday, shortly after 9:00 p.m., the Ipsos exit poll results were disclosed. The poll indicated that Rafał Trzaskowski garnered 30.8 percent of the votes in the initial round of the presidential election, while Karol Nawrocki secured 29.1 percent.
Conversely, as per the official figures released by the National Electoral Commission from all districts on Monday before noon, Rafał Trzaskowski received 31.36 percent of the votes, and Karol Nawrocki obtained 29.54 percent.
Both candidates will contest in the second round of elections, scheduled for June 1.
The announcement of the results – channel performance
During the announcement of the exit poll results of the first round of the presidential elections (21:00-21:09), the TVN24 and TVN channels were the most viewed, achieving a combined 21.76 percent share in the overall audience category (viewers aged four and above).
TVP1, TVP Info, and TVP Polonia collectively held a market share of 15.16% during that period, TV Republika had 12.71%, while Polsat News, Wydarzenia 24, and Polsat News Polityka accounted for 6.54%. Notably, Polsat opted to forgo the critical portion of election night on its main channel, instead broadcasting the final match of the volleyball Champions League.

TVN24 and TVN also led in the 20-54 age demographic, achieving a share of 23.29 percent at the moment the exit poll results were announced. Following them were: TVP1, TVP Info, TVP Polonia (13.46 percent), TV Republika (8.47 percent), and Polsat News, Wydarzenia 24, Polsat News Polityka (7.01 percent).
The average minute audience rating (AMR) for the 4+ demographic reached 3,174,528 viewers for TVN (TVN24 and TVN), 2,213,275 viewers for TVP (TVP1, TVP Info, TVP Polonia), 1,853,754 viewers for TV Republika, and 954,400 viewers for Polsat (Polsat News, Wydarzenia 24, Polsat News Polityka).
The tvn24.pl portal ranked as the second most visited site in the „Information and Journalism” category on election Sunday, attracting 2.4 million unique users according to Mediapanel Gemius. The leading site in this category was Onet with 5.5 million users, followed by tvn24.pl, Interia (2.4 million users), and Wirtualna Polska (2 million users).
