The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate issued a public alert on Wednesday concerning the potential presence of glass shards in two batches of natural carbonated mineral water from Ciechocinek.
GIS reported that, based on consumer feedback and official inspections at the production facility, it was discovered that glass fragments might be present in two batches of the product „KRYSTYNKA natural carbonated mineral water” 330 ml.
Withdrawn batches
The alert pertains to batch ES142 with a best before date of May 22, 2026, and batch ES153 with a best before date of June 2, 2026.
The water manufacturer is Uzdrowisko Ciechocinek SA, located at 10 Kościuszki Street.
GIS warning
„Consumption of this product poses a risk of adverse health effects due to the ingestion of a foreign object – glass,” the Inspectorate cautioned.
It was also noted that the manufacturer has notified its distributors of the non-compliance, and that the recipients are executing the product recall protocol. Additionally, the State Sanitary Inspectorate is overseeing the process of removing the disputed product by the recipients.
„Do not consume the product batches mentioned in this notice,” warns GIS.
