In July, Warsaw-Radom Airport served over 18,000 passengers

In July of this year, 18,000 passengers utilized Radom Airport. This represents a 15 percent decrease compared to the same month last year. Since the start of the year, more than 50,000 travelers have passed through Warsaw-Radom Airport, as reported by Polish Airports (PPL).
In July 2024, Radom Airport accommodated 21,241 passengers, while July of this year saw 18,068. Although there was a 15 percent drop in passenger figures, Polish Airports (PPL) views this outcome as satisfactory, particularly in light of efforts to expand the route network to align with current market demands.
– This indicates a consistent demand for airport services, especially during the summer months, and lays a strong foundation for the airport’s future growth and the expansion of its transport offerings – highlighted PPL.
Since the year’s commencement, over 50,000 individuals have traveled through Warsaw-Radom Airport. This summer, destinations accessible from Radom include Spain, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Albania, and Cyprus.
About Radom Airport
Radom Airport commenced operations in May 2014. Initially, flights were available to cities such as Riga, Berlin, Wrocław, and Lviv. It was notable for being the only public airport in Poland constructed without EU financial support.
After the municipal company’s bankruptcy in 2018 that managed the airport, Polish Airports took control and nearly rebuilt it from the ground up. The first flight from the revamped airport occurred at the end of April 2023.
