Product batch withdrawn from stores. GIS warning
The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) has issued an alert concerning a chocolate bunny made with cocoa-milk icing. A consumer complaint was filed regarding the discovery of a plastic piece within the product. Consequently, the manufacturer has decided to recall the entire batch from retail outlets.
The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate was made aware of a consumer report about a plastic fragment found in a product named Bunny with cocoa-milk flavored icing.
GIS: plastic pieces may have contaminated the product
„Following an investigation conducted by the State District Sanitary Inspector in Elbląg alongside the product’s manufacturer, it was confirmed that the plastic mold used for shaping the product had been damaged,” GIS stated in an announcement.
„Consequently, plastic fragments may have contaminated the product. This places consumers at risk of accidentally consuming these plastic pieces along with the product,” it further noted.

According to the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, the company „Wolność” Sp. z o.o. has notified its customers about the necessity to halt sales and recall this product from the market.
Furthermore, it was mentioned that the State Sanitary Inspection is collaborating with the manufacturer to investigate all aspects of the situation and is overseeing the product recall process.
„Avoid consuming the product batch specified in the notice,” GIS cautioned.
