Glapiński's salary. This is how much the head of the NBP earned
The salary of the President of the National Bank of Poland, Adam Glapiński, rose by 4.1 percent in 2024 to nearly PLN 1.4 million, as stated on the central bank’s official website.
In 2024, NBP President Adam Glapiński’s earnings reached PLN 1,379,946 gross. In contrast, his remuneration in 2023 was PLN 1,325,419.
As per the released figures, President Glapiński received his highest salary in November, amounting to PLN 271,993. The second highest was in April, when the NBP head earned PLN 260,198. Glapiński surpassed PLN 200 thousand in one additional month, specifically in August, when he made PLN 212,989.

The salary of the first deputy president of the National Bank of Poland, Marta Kightley, rose by 4.9% to PLN 1,138,824 gross (up from PLN 1,085,263 in 2023), while vice president Adam Lipiński’s remuneration increased by 4% to PLN 1,135,865 (from PLN 1,091,817 in 2023).
The reported figures account for the basic salary and functional allowance, as well as additional components like bonuses and awards, in accordance with the Act on the National Bank of Poland.
