Difficulties in banks [PKO BP, Pekao, mBank, ING Bank Śląski, BNP Paribas, Alior, VeloBank]
PKO BP, Pekao, mBank, ING Bank Śląski – these banking institutions are set to undergo maintenance in the upcoming days. Consequently, there may be issues with transfers, mobile banking, and BLIK transactions.
PKO BP
PKO BP has arranged maintenance for Sunday, March 23. Clients may face interruptions from 00:00 to 12:00. During this period:
– access to iPKO and iPKO biznes online services as well as telephone services will be unavailable, – the PKO Junior service and its application will be inaccessible, – cash withdrawals from ATMs with the IKO app and payments in physical and online shops using BLIK will still be possible, but other functionalities will be disabled, – the iPKO biznes application will not be operational, – the open banking feature will be inoperative, – online payments via the „Pay with iPKO” function will not be possible.
„All cards will remain functional at ATMs and physical stores. For online payments secured by the 3D-Secure 2 card, only SMS code and card PIN authorization will be available,” states the bank.
„If feasible, please complete all essential transactions in advance,” suggests the bank.
Pekao
On Sunday, March 23 between 0:30-4:30, Express Elixir instant transfers and BLIK phone transfers through the PeoPay app will be unavailable.
Monday, March 24, 1:00 a.m. – 5:00 a.m.:
– logging into the Pekao24 service and the PeoPay app and the eTrader Pekao platform will not be possible, – BLIK functionality in the PeoPay app will be inaccessible, – initiating a transfer will not be possible, – transfers via credit card will not be permitted, – completing online transactions using the 3-D Secure code will be unfeasible, – there may be issues when using debit cards, ATMs, and payment terminals.
„Plan all these operations ahead of time,” the bank advises.
mBank
mBank has also scheduled technical maintenance. This will occur over the weekend during the night of March 22-23 (Saturday-Sunday).
„From 00:30 to 07:00, BLIK phone transfers and express transfers will be unavailable, and BLIK payments cannot be processed. However, you can make card payments in physical stores, restaurants, and access ATMs. Online card transactions will not be functional from 2:30 to 07:00,” the bank’s announcement states.
„During the time frame of 2:30 to 7:00, logging into your account online or through the mobile app will be impossible. No applications can be submitted during this period. Access to your bank-related data will be restricted, preventing any operations from being performed,” the bank explains.
„Please ensure all significant transfers are made ahead of time,” mBank recommends.
Additionally, a break has been scheduled for SME and Corporate clients,
„Internet card payments will not be available between 2:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. However, card payments can still be made in physical stores, restaurants, and access to ATMs is maintained,” the bank states.
ING Bank Śląski
ING Bank has planned maintenance for the weekend of 22 to 23 March and Monday, 24 March.
„During the night from Saturday to Sunday (22/23 March) from 23:30 to 05:00 and on Monday (24 March) from 00:00 to 00:30, we will conduct maintenance work. You may encounter issues when depositing cash through electronic depositories during this time. If possible, please use them at alternate times,” the bank advises.
ATMs and cash deposit machines will function normally.
