PKO BP, Santander, ING, mBank, Alior – difficulties for customers. „Have cash with you just in case”
Customers of PKO BP, Santander Bank Polska, ING Bank Śląski, mBank, Alior Bank, Credit Agricole, and Bank Pocztowy should prepare for some challenges in the near future due to scheduled maintenance work.
PKO BP
PKO Bank Polski has stated, „We will conduct technical operations on Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 00:00 to 12:00.”
It was further clarified that „during this period:
- the iPKO and iPKO biznes online and telephone services will be inaccessible,
- the PKO Junior service and application will not be operational,
- the IKO app will allow cash withdrawals from ATMs and payments in physical and online stores only via Blik; other features will not be accessible,
- the iPKO biznes application will be unavailable,
- the Open Banking functionality will be inactive,
- online payments using „I pay with iPKO” will not be possible.
Nevertheless, „all cards will function at ATMs and in physical stores.” Additionally, „only SMS and card PIN authorization will be available for the 3D-Secure 2 online card payment protection.”
„If possible, please conduct all essential transactions beforehand,” the bank advises.
Santander Bank Poland
Customers of Santander Bank Polska may also experience disturbances due to maintenance activities scheduled for the weekend of June 13 to 15. According to the bank’s website, the following services will be unavailable from Friday to Saturday (June 13 to 14):
- mobile application – from 23:00 to 00:05,
- Internet banking – from 23:00 to 08:00,
- standard transfers – from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.,
- instant transfers (Express Elixir, BlueCash) – from 23:00 to 08:00,
- payments in online stores (Przelew24) – from 23:00 to 08:00,
- Blik – from 23:00 to 08:00,
- Santander currency exchange service – from 22:00 to 08:00.
From 00:05 to 8:00, „you can view your account balance and transaction history prior to the maintenance period, along with a list of purchased tickets or parking,” the bank explained.
During this time, Santander clients can still use their cards for payments in-store and online, as well as deposit and withdraw cash.
ING Bank Śląski
ING Bank Śląski has announced that „on Saturday, June 14, it plans to undertake technological and service operations. The Makler module in Moje ING will be inaccessible from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.”
mBank
mBank has stated that there will be a technical interruption on the night of June 14-15 (Saturday-Sunday). Customers will be unable to make online payments from 2:30 to 11:00. However, they will still be able to use their cards for payments in physical stores and restaurants throughout the night, as well as access ATMs.
Additionally, mBank reported, „between 2:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., online login to your account or in the mobile app will not be possible. You will also be unable to submit any applications during this period.”
