Poczta Polska has signed a cooperation agreement with the Żabka chain of stores

Poczta Polska and Żabka have finalized a partnership agreement that will result in „technological integration” between the two entities. This new model of communication will not impact the customer, and all existing processes concerning the dispatch and receipt of parcels will continue as before.
The company highlighted in its announcement that Żabka is the inaugural organization with which Poczta Polska has achieved technological integration. „Collaborative efforts with Żabka Polska Sp. z o. o. will undoubtedly ease the implementation of similar solutions (…) in retail chains where customers can both send and receive parcels delivered by Poczta Polska,” the company stated.

Per the signed agreement, the operational systems of both companies will interact directly — previously, this was facilitated through a third party. Poczta Polska confirmed that the shift to the new communication model will not affect the customer, and all prior processes related to sending and receiving parcels will be conducted as they have been.
The postal service noted that direct collaboration with retail chains presents numerous advantages for both parties, including enhanced efficiency, improved oversight of operations, and a quicker response to customer demands. „Such partnerships also foster the exchange of ideas and best practices, leading to greater innovation and the development of new products and services,” the company added.
Post office customers choose Żabka
The announcement emphasized that, among all partner locations of Poczta Polska where parcels can be collected, Poczta customers predominantly select Żabka chain stores. As of February this year, there are over 11,000 stores — located in urban centers, shopping malls, and smaller towns.
„Poczta Polska aims to ensure that collecting, sending, or returning a parcel via their services is a straightforward and minimally demanding task for customers, allowing it to be done quickly and conveniently, close to home or work, while managing other responsibilities,” the company stated. Poczta has been collaborating with Żabka Polska Sp. z o.o. since 2017.
Poczta Polska is a State Treasury company and the largest postal operator in the domestic market, employing just over 51.6 thousand staff members. In the first half of 2024, Poczta reported a loss exceeding PLN 300 million, attributed by the current president, Sebastian Mikosz, to mistakes and oversights from previous years.
By the end of March 2025, the Żabka Group operated over 11,000 franchise stores nationwide.
