Smoked salmon recalled due to salmonella. Cannot be consumed

The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate has identified salmonella bacteria in a batch of salad salmon. This particular fish is unsafe for consumption, posing a risk of food poisoning.
„Due to official actions by the State Sanitary Inspection, Salmonella spp. was found in 1 out of 5 samples of the product mentioned below,” GIS stated, emphasizing that „eating a product contaminated with Salmonella bacteria carries the risk of food poisoning.”

GIS has reported that „the manufacturer has opted to withdraw the batch of the product involved in the notification.” Meanwhile, „official food control authorities are carrying out investigative procedures regarding the issue and overseeing the withdrawal of the product from the market.”
Symptoms of Salmonella Infection
The Inspectorate also stresses that „the product from the batch referenced in the notification should not be ingested. If symptoms of food poisoning occur after consuming the aforementioned product, seek medical attention.”
According to GIS, „the initial symptoms of the infection manifest within 6 hours to 3-7 days after exposure to the infectious agent and may include: abdominal pain, fever, diarrhea, dehydration, nausea, vomiting.” In some instances, a systemic infection with a more severe progression, known as the extraintestinal form, can develop, particularly in young children, the elderly, or individuals with weakened immune systems. Such cases may lead to abscess formation, inflammation of the bile ducts, lungs, meninges, joints, bone marrow, bones, and sepsis. Effective treatments for salmonellosis are available.”
