Kvass, which GISGIS cautions against
The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate has issued a public alert concerning kvass. Gluten has been identified in several batches of the product labeled as gluten-free, which could trigger allergic reactions in certain individuals.
According to a GIS press release, as a result of inspections conducted by the State Sanitary Inspection, violations were found in the gluten levels of specific batches of bread acids designated as gluten-free products.
„The consumption of these products by individuals with gluten allergies or intolerances may lead to allergic reactions,” warns GIS.
